Schedule

September 6th

9:30 - 10:30:
We meet at Quinta do Tedo and meet Kay Bouchard. Scissors and buckets will be handed out before heading into the vineyards (a 5 -10 minute walk away) for a traditional harvest snack (codfish fritters and soup) and an introduction to the estate and harvest activities.

Participate in grape picking, with the vineyard team and friends from Armamar's Senior University, who will be dressed in traditional clothing and sing traditional songs.

11:30 - 12:30:
Enjoy a tour of the vinification lagares and ageing cellars and a taste of the elegant Fine Tawny Port before lunch.

12:30 - 14:00:
Savour a light lunch served family-style. Estate rosé or red wine, water and coffee, savoury treats and salads, regional cheese, bread and charcuterie, estate jams, marinated olives, estate olive oil, and dessert accompanied by the Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port.
